01
Show up
Start close to home. Pay attention to the issues shaping Mainland and Pleasantville, make time for community, and be present when people gather.
Your next step
Bring your voice. Bring your people.
Justice is not a spectator sport. Whether you are ready to volunteer, learn, organize, or simply start paying attention, there is a place for you in the work.
02
Speak up
Bring your experience and your questions into the room. Share what you know, listen generously, and help make civic participation more informed.
03
Bring someone
Movements grow through invitation. Tell a neighbor, bring a friend, or make space for someone who has not yet found their way into the work.
A simple place to begin
Start with curiosity.
Read, ask, attend, and keep going. The national NAACP offers ways to join and support the wider movement; your local branch is where that commitment can become a relationship with place.
Anyone who wants to be a part of justice belongs in this conversation.
